HEALTHY PARENTING

A session on “Healthy Parenting” was held on 11^th and 12^th November 2017. Rev. Dr. Wilson, OFM Cap, Director – Anugraha, Centre for Counseling & Guidance, Dindigul and Rev.Dr. Lawrence, Secretary, Anugraha, Centre for Counseling & Guidance, Dindigul were the resource persons who enlightened the parents, teachers and students on how to face the challenges in life.

The concluding part of the session was an open panel session which was presided over by Dr. Victor Louis, LIBA, Chennai. Mr. Antony, Director of “Neeya? Naana?” was the Chief Guest while Rev.Fr. Joe Arun, Director, St.Joseph’s Institute of Management was the moderator who steered the session towards the theme “NEEYA? NANAA?“.

ALCHEMY BY NATURE

29^th November 2017 was another Red Lettered Day in the annals of Montfort School, Kattur. It marked the launch of a book by Rev.Bro.Soosairaj, the Principal of Montfort School – Kattur, titled “Alchemy by Nature”. The momentous occasion was aggrandized by the presence of Most Rev. Bishop Antony Devotta, D.D., Tiruchirappalli Diocese. Rev. Bro. Mariannan,SG, Provincial Superior – Trichy Province, Rev. Bro. Prathap Reddy, SG, Provincial Superior – Hyderabad Province, Film Directors Mr. Seenu Ramasamy and Mr. Prabhu Solomon.

Rev. Bro. Mariannan,SG, Provincial Superior – Trichy Province received the first copy of the Book from Film Directors Mr. Prabhu Solomon and Mr. Seenu Ramasamy.

After felicitations by the Most Rev. Bishop Antony Devotta, D.D., Tiruchirappalli Diocese, Rev.Bro.Amal Raj, Montfort Nursery & Primary School, Manapparai and Rev.Bro. Soosairaj’s speech in which he took the audience through the labyrinth of his journey in photography, the formal inauguration of his photographs in a Gallery was followed by speeches by the two Film Directors Mr. Seenu Ramasamy and Mr. Prabhu Solomon who paid encomiums to Rev. Bro. Soosairaj and exhorted him to carry on his journey in photography not only in the terrestrial sphere but also in the clouds and the deep.

Introducing Creative Education.

Montfort has reached another milestone by introducing Creative Education into her curriculum from this academic year for I to V Standards, with the collaboration from �Image Minds�, Digital Audio, Video Labs are new facilities that would trigger the young creative minds.

The School Offers Integrated IIT foundation course to students of class VII to XI, within the School premises in association with SEEKERS.

The Digital Teaching System is introduced in all the classes from LKG to Std.XII to make learning interesting and effective through Next-Education SMART Class.
