Motto
The school motto is "IN GOD WE TRUST", signifying that God our ultimate destiny, who holds the whole universe in His hands, is the anchor of our life.
Logo
The school logo symbolically represents the Montfortian Vision of education where:
- LAMP: Stands for liberation from darkness of ignorance.
- DS: i.e. "Dieu Seul" meaning GOD ALONE stands for the motto of St.Montfort whose inspiration, Montfort Brothers try to live and lead the young to the Divine reality of God.
- BOOKS: represent students' quest for knowledge.
- HANDS: Teacher's extended hand symbolizes his / her vocation to be a friend, philosopher and guide.
- SG: stands for St.Gabriel, the official name of the Montfort Brothers' Congregation.
I am glad to present myself to you. I am Bro. Robert, appointed as the new Principal and Correspondent of Montfort School, Kattur. It gives me immense joy to communicate with you all, through our school website since the present pandemic has made things hard for us to meet one another physically at school. Changes in life are inevitable and they are unchangeable! Everything considered as normal has changed into new normal. I have come to know and heard from many sources about the many positive changes taking place in this great temple of learning.
